Torpe ka kasi eh

A man who is unable to express his affection to a woman (who may have the same feelings for him) is called a torpe (stupid), dungo (extremely shy), or simply duwag (coward). To call a man torpe means he does not know how to court a girl, is playing innocent, or does not know she also has an affection for him.

If a man is torpe, he needs a tulay (bridge)--anyone who is a mutual friend of him and the girl he loves--who then conveys to the girl his affection for her. It is also a way of 'testing the waters' so to speak. If the boy realizes that the girl does not have feelings for him, he will then not push through with the courtship, thus saving face.
Some guys are afraid of their love being turned down by the girl. In Tagalog, a guy whose love has been turned down by the girl is called sawi (romantically sad), basted (busted), or simply labless (loveless).

I got that from some website..anyways I just wanna share what I think will happen if Mr. Torpe doesn't admit his feelings for the girl he likes

Story A
Si girl magwwait kay torpe, ayun si girl kahit maraming guys may nais magcourt sa kanya na halatang masgwapo[?], mas masaya makasama, mas talented, mas kaclose, mas ayun... Loyal pa rin si girl. :wow: Naka ilang months na and umaasa and naghihintay si girl. Grr. yung torpe ayaw umamin masyadong waah. Until one day umamin si Torpe kay Girl... and then napatingin na lang siya sa lapag at na confuse kasi I dunno with her pero whatever she just smiled at the guy and didnt even utter a word, maybe she's kinikilig[?] Pero in the end they had the same feelings for each other.

Story B
Si torpe and si girl ay friends. Oo, tama ka doon friends sila. Parati sila tinutuksu ng mga barkada nila. {ayeeee, kinikilig ako :)))} tapos ayun antagal nila hindi nagmeet, si girl namiss si torpe hanggang one day nagkita sila kasi may meeting or something like that surprisingly iniwasan and nag silent treatment siya kay torpe. Hay ang ewan ni girl. May nameet si Girl na boys, those boys like her friends and her friends...well i dont know about her friends :))) Until one day one of the boys developed feelings for Girl and she on the other hand doesn't know how to react because she really feels comfortable when theyre having their conversations and that boy served as a bridge between her and that torpe. The boy admitted his feelings for Girl and blah. Oh yeah! She likes torpe that time and still is waiting for him to admit.

And her words have not failed again to keep me up till dawn
A lot of thoughts have been running through my head recently after my sister's blunt words have landed into my ears.
1. simplicity
2. comparing siblings
3. inner and outer beauty
4. a friend i dearly miss
5. emotions
6. the urge to admit you love someone
7. a certain beautiful girl
- SIMPLICITY.
  What is simplicity? Obviously the opposite of complicated, composing only one element, the usual no difference, plain, etc. There was a person who told me that being simple can really attract the opposite sex. Everyone will adore someone who's simple. I say she's wrong somehow. Yes, i do agree with her that being simple does attract people,period. But i also find being simple rather boring, dull and stupid. please dont be offended. I admire people who are simple, really because they dont attach themselves with all the worldly material objects today offers. Instead of talking about Paris Hilton or whatever frivolous topic to discuss about, they just go with their day, live their lives, wake up in the morning get dress got to work or school or probably stay inside their own house and do some house chores to please the people they love or theyre just obliged to do such tiring tasks. Being simple is one of the hardest things to do because for me it's quite inevitable to be a simple girl cause my life is not as simple as it is and i have a wayward personality and my mind is either full of irrelevant thoughts or a bunch of important things i need to think about. Trying to be simple is a very difficult task and youre only doing this in vain. be ashame of yourself. Probably you want to be simple so you can simply catch the eye of the people around you.All i can say is be yourself and try not to be who you are cause its better to be yourself...
- COMPARING SIBLINGS.
  I've been a victim to being compared to my younger sister. Its quite inevitable to be not compared with a sister whose age is one minute younger than you. Being compared to a person who is related to you in blood does not give you a good sense of being to yourself. It's not good being compared with someone you're not alike. Its a waste of time. Getting compared is one of the drastic things i detest in the sibling twin world because it can create competition, sibling rivalry, jealousy,and more. when being compared you could either end up smiling and pretending you dont care a damn about what the commenter say or end up frowning probably also smiling a bit and you'd probably think about what the commenter said which will make you act more conscious about your surroundings, the way people treat you, your personality. A simple comment can either ruin or build up your self-esteem. And do so avoid those rude straightforward people who cant sugarcoat a statement that can bluntly unconsciously hurt the person being remarked about especially if he or she is only in an earshot.
- INNER and OUTER BEAUTY
  So youre beautiful and a lot of guys or girls would be hitting on you, giving you a lot of special attention, you know those stuff... gad how society treat people based on their faces. they're nice to those who are attractive and become rude to those who are not pretty or handsome enough. Physical attraction are one of the qualities you have to get hold of if you want to be rich, powerful and be well-known. Seriously I believe that. If you noticed most of the people in the celebrity world are beautiful. But here's the catch you got the looks but if you got no brains then youre going down,down,down... hahaha. sorry. You can be easily ripped off by people who got you know on you and take advantage of you. Once you saw a person beautiful on the inside you'll also see her beautiful on the outside too even though people might think of her as rather unappealing to the tastes of the public. There was a senior of mine, i never saw her face but everytime i see her works of art, she gives me a sense of pride, happiness and the will to improve my skills in a certain hobby of mine. I find her very beautiful, but if you look at her pics you might tell me its not quite you know what. Inner beauty possesses qualities such as kindness, intelligence, sweetness, sensitivity, tenderness and whatever. Inner beauty is more important than physical temporary beauty.
For the rest of my thoughts...i'll soon put them some time around later if i'd get the chance. For now slumber has told me to come and do what she wants.. okay scratch that. i dont want to do that anymore even though how sleepy i'm right now... i'd rather stay up and sleep alone. so'ill be waiting for them to wake up. okay, i'm killing myself.

Pinoy ako.

Hey! COOL! I found the Pinoy Ako album.One of my favorite cds. The cover of the album maybe a tad simple but hey the songs in it are superb. So yeah, i listen to filipino music or should i say Original Pilipino Music. aka. OPM...I listen to them when i was in my tween period. There's nothing to be ashamed of. You should be proud of the local music industry, theyre improving! HAHAHAHA. My mom used to tell me that filipinos prefer listening to the songs foreigners created and the industry is going broke because of this so the government banned the filipinos to listen to foreign music and listen and appreciate the wonderful musical work their own filipino brothers and sisters created for them to enjoy. And guess what? The youth of today are listening to opm. Awesome right.

Today, the Philippines is perhaps Asia's most vibrant music-obsessed country..[wikipedia :p]

its weird for people to say that opm is baduy, cheesy,eew. pero once you try it you'll get hooked! [me: ouch tinamaan ako dun] I recommend you to try listening to sitti and barbie. hahaha. i love 'em.

its called choke.choke

okay. pagkatapos namin mageat sa mcdo. medyo iba na kilos niya. shet. NASASAKAL AKO. we're not a couple. friends lang tingin ko sa kanya kahit you know...infatuated ako. its magulo right? pero maggetts niyo yan. Yung nageenjoy ka na sa friendship niyo tapos biglang parang you know...all for you. yeah all for you.. blahblahh. its quite flattering i should say. pero over na. please. ayaw ko. pero you know, i don't like the feeling of guilt. especially if HE.. yeah he.. wont sleep if you wont sleep. eat if you wont eat. c'mon it'll drive me insane. i have my own life and he has his own. I'm not his girlfriend and neither is he my boyfriend. And I'm not worth dieting on. I met him around may 2.and we're like texting.chatting. and you know... i think our friendly relationship has over gone the average speed limit of progression. He's all sweet and that but you know... I'd rather be his friend first, i know him but not everything..he's hot, cute just my type, and whats surprising is i dont even know his birthday. all i know is he's younger than me. I'm having the idea I'm a trophy for some game i'd rather not watch. The hey-kid-i-dare-you-to-court-her-cause-i-know-she-likes-you game. or having mutual feelings for her after you learned how she felt about you. That's very JERKY. not meat jerky. but you know,a JERK thing. I've been under that experience and i tell you it'll make you feel all fake,plastic and mean. I'm not saying its bad to have mutual feelings i'm just telling you , it should be REAL not the since-you-like-me-I'll-like-you-too kind. You'll look cheap and you wont be true to yourself...

I NEED PERSONAL SPACE.
